Kazan Kremlin

A cycle of poems «Kazan»

On the Kazanka's gentle flow, a fortress stands so tall
Kazan Kremlin, stories old, a whisper through the wall
Of khans and tsars, and empires born, and battles fiercely fought
A legacy of stone and brick, a history devout

Oh, Kazan Kremlin, white and blue, beneath the summer sun
Your towers pierce the azure sky, your beauty has begun
A sacred space, a vibrant heart, of Tatarstan's domain
A symbol of resilience, a story to remain

The Annunciation Cathedral's grace, a golden crown so bright
The Kul Sharif, a phoenix risen, bathed in morning light
The mighty Spasskaya Tower stands, a sentinel of time
Through centuries of change and strife, its echoes softly chime

Oh, Kazan Kremlin, white and blue, beneath the summer sun
Your towers pierce the azure sky, your beauty has begun
A sacred space, a vibrant heart, of Tatarstan's domain
A symbol of resilience, a story to remain

The Kremlin walls, a silent guard, have witnessed joy and tears
The laughter of the children's play, dispelling all the fears
A tapestry of cultures woven, in threads of gold and red
A testament to unity, where past and present tread

Oh, Kazan Kremlin, white and blue, beneath the summer sun
Your towers pierce the azure sky, your beauty has begun
A sacred space, a vibrant heart, of Tatarstan's domain
A symbol of resilience, a story to remain

Kazan Kremlin, forever strong, your spirit will endure
A beacon in the Volga's heart, forever pure and sure.
Forever pure and sure.
