Friendly Neighbors

A cycle of poems «Kazan»

Sun sets slow, paints the sky in gold
Birds sing sweet, a story untold
Across the street, a friendly face
Wave and smile, a warm embrace
We share the breeze, the blooming flowers
Through sunny days and rainy hours
Friendly neighbors, side by side
A helping hand, with nothing to hide

We're a tapestry, woven tight
With kindness shared, morning, noon, and night
A lending ear, a helping hand
A bond of friendship, across the land
Friendly neighbors, a joyful sound
In this little world, where love is found

Borrow sugar, share a laugh
Talk about life, through joy and chaff
Kids play together, under the trees
Building forts, catching summer breeze
Barbecues sizzle, laughter rings
Sharing stories, life's little things
Friendly neighbors, a comforting sight
A warm welcome, shining ever bright

We're a tapestry, woven tight
With kindness shared, morning, noon, and night
A lending ear, a helping hand
A bond of friendship, across the land
Friendly neighbors, a joyful sound
In this little world, where love is found

Through thick and thin, we'll always be
A community, strong and free
A helping hand, a listening ear
Dispelling worries, casting out fear

We're a tapestry, woven tight
With kindness shared, morning, noon, and night
A lending ear, a helping hand
A bond of friendship, across the land
Friendly neighbors, a joyful sound
In this little world, where love is found

Friendly neighbors, a precious gift
A bond of love, we'll always lift
So let's raise a glass, to the ones we hold dear
Friendly neighbors, year after year.
