The world has tried to knock me down,
Not every time I was a winner.
Being trapped and scared, with no way out,
I just tried to keep on living.
I didn’t know how I could fight it;
I was healing pain and bruises.
I felt so lost, but then you found me.
You helped me think that I can do this.
My heart may still be under dust,
And I’m not sure about my feelings,
But someday I will erase those scars;
And for now your love is my painkiller.
