A lot of sparkling elves
were carrying the paints
the Queen Haze made that day.
They flew and the caps jingles
were ringing. Tiny wings
accompanied to rattle.
The autumn hoary Queen
took brushes and thin brass leaves.
She went to the wide glade.
It was the best bright place
the equinox warm day
must be to celebrate.
The Queen called her small elves.
They opened magic paints
and gave them to grey Haze.
She dunked a fluffy brush
in one of glassy jars
and coloured the leaves plates.
She took the thin brass foil
and put it on the points
of maples reddish leaves.
The glade looked very bright
to time of autumn night.
Its voile clothed the scene.
