Storms have raged, and shadows fell
Tried to break me, send me to hell
Knocked me down, left me scarred and bruised
But my spirit's fire, couldn't be refused

I will definitely survive, rise above the tide
Though the waves crash, and the winds collide
I'll rebuild my walls, stronger than before
This heart won't shatter, it will evermore

Doubts whispered, fears took hold
Tried to steal my dreams, stories untold
But a flicker of hope, started to gleam
A warrior's spirit, a powerful stream

I will definitely survive, rise above the tide

The scars they tell a story, of battles won
The lessons learned, the victories begun
I'm not defined by what I've been through
But by the strength I find, brand new
