Resuscitation

A cycle of poems «Trauma Life Support»

Heartbeat fading, a whisper low
Life's candle flickering, about to go
Eyes closed tight, a silent plea
For a spark of hope, to set them free

Resuscitation, a desperate fight
Against the darkness, holding on tight
Shocks and breaths, a rhythmic beat
Bringing back the life, that's bittersweet

Fingers trembling, pushing down deep
A fragile hope, the secrets keep
Pupils dilating, a fading light
Will the spark ignite, with all its might?

Resuscitation, a desperate fight
Against the darkness, holding on tight
Shocks and breaths, a rhythmic beat
Bringing back the life, that's bittersweet

Time stands still, in this urgent space
A silent prayer, a hopeful chase
The line between life and death so thin
Will the battle end, will they begin?

Resuscitation, a desperate fight
Against the darkness, holding on tight
Shocks and breaths, a rhythmic beat
Bringing back the life, that's bittersweet

A gasp of air, a flicker of sight
Life returns, bathed in a golden light
Resuscitation, a second chance
A fragile gift, a healing dance.
