Migration Problem

A cycle of poems «Is This Your American Dream?»

In restless hearts, a journey's call
To seek a haven, where dreams enthrall
Far from home, they leave their past
With hopes pinned high, their future cast

Migration's tide, a relentless flow
Across borders, dreams ebb and grow
But hidden amidst the hopeful throng
Lies a problem, an unspoken song

With every step, they face a test
Prejudice and fear, a haunting pest
Rejection's sting, like a bitter brew
Shattering dreams, leaving spirits blue

Squalid camps become their temporary plight
Where dreams are crushed, in endless night
Exploitation's grip, a cruel embrace
Stealing hope, leaving only a trace

Migration's tide, a relentless flow
Across borders, dreams ebb and grow
But hidden amidst the hopeful throng
Lies a problem, an unspoken song

The world's a tapestry, vibrant and vast
But borders divide, casting shadows that last
In this global dance, we cannot forget
The plight of those who've risked all they've met

Through refugee eyes, we glimpse human strife
The longing for peace, a precious life
Let empathy's flame within us burn
And strive for a world where all souls yearn

Migration's tide, a relentless flow
Across borders, dreams ebb and grow
But hidden amidst the hopeful throng
Lies a problem, an unspoken song

In unity, we can break down the wall
And build a future where hope stands tall
For in diversity, our strength resides
A world united, where injustice hides
