Unavailability of Medical Care

A cycle of poems «Is This Your American Dream?»

In shadows concealed, a tale unfolds,
Where suffering cries for solace untold.
Unavailability's grip, a cruel hand,
Denying respite, a barren land.

Oh, the anguish of need unmet,
Medical care, a distant debt.
Voices echo, lost in despair,
As hope withers, leaving only glare.

Communities torn by despair's embrace,
Where illness rages, leaving no trace.
The sick and needy, forgotten and frail,
Their pleas for healing lost in the gale.

Oh, the anguish of need unmet,
Medical care, a distant debt.
Voices echo, lost in despair,
As hope withers, leaving only glare.

Hospitals overwhelmed, resources scarce,
A symphony of pain, a hollow farce.
Doctors and nurses, weary and worn,
Their spirits dimming, their strength forlorn.

Distance becomes a cruel barrier's might,
Separating lives from health's warm light.
Transportation's woes, a torturous maze,
Delaying care, prolonging the haze.

Oh, the anguish of need unmet,
Medical care, a distant debt.
Voices echo, lost in despair,
As hope withers, leaving only glare.

In a world of abundance, such a plight,
Medical care should be an inherent right.
Let empathy ignite, compassion reign,
To shatter the chains of this unbearable pain.
