Corruption
In the halls of power, where shadows dance,
Corruption festers, a poisonous trance.
Like a viper's venom, it spreads its blight,
Tainting the hearts, obscuring the light.
Oh, corruption, your grip so cold,
You rot the soul and make the innocent fold.
You poison the well, corrupt the stream,
Leaving behind a broken, shattered dream.
The greedy hand of power reaches far,
Bribing the weak, silencing the star.
Justice is bought, the truth concealed,
While the innocent are left to the battlefield.
The people's trust, betrayed and lost,
As leaders plunder, counting the cost.
Public coffers emptied, the nation's wealth,
Stolen by those who swear upon their health.
Oh, corruption, your grip so cold,
You rot the soul and make the innocent fold.
You poison the well, corrupt the stream,
Leaving behind a broken, shattered dream.
But there's a flame that burns within,
A flicker of hope, a battle to win.
For in the face of darkness, we shall stand,
And fight against this blight with our own hand.
Let us expose the lies, unveil the truth,
Demand accountability, restore our youth.
Together we'll rise, a righteous tide,
And cleanse our nation from this evil tide.
Oh, corruption, your grip must break,
We'll fight for justice, for our nation's sake.
We'll heal the wounds, restore the trust,
And build a future that's fair and just.
From ashes we shall rise, a nation renewed,
Where honesty prevails, and dreams pursued.
Corruption's reign will end, its shadows fade,
And a brighter future for all will be made.
