Birth Trauma

A cycle of poems «Traumatology»

In a realm of pain, my journey began,
A nightmare I lived, a traumatic scan.
Birth's beauty marred, by horrors untold,
A symphony of screams, a story to be unrolled.

Oh, birth trauma, an invisible scar,
Etched upon my soul, a heavy bar.
The pain I endured, the wounds I bear,
A silent cry, a burden I share.

My body betrayed, a vessel in distress,
Torn and shattered, in a chaotic mess.
My mind raced with fear, a desperate maze,
As darkness enveloped, in a haze.

Oh, birth trauma, an invisible scar,
Etched upon my soul, a heavy bar.
The pain I endured, the wounds I bear,
A silent cry, a burden I share.

Through the fog of trauma, a glimmer of light,
A flicker of hope, amidst the night.
With love and resilience, I found my way,
A path to healing, a brighter day.

My story is not just mine to own,
It's a whisper of pain, in shadows unknown.
For many endure, the trauma concealed,
Their voices silenced, their stories unrevealed.

Oh, birth trauma, an invisible scar,
Etched upon my soul, a heavy bar.
The pain I endured, the wounds I bear,
A silent cry, a burden I share.

From the depths of darkness, I rise above,
A warrior scarred, but filled with love.
My voice I lend, to break the silence's grip,
To empower others, to heal and equip.

In unity, we shall shatter the walls,
Of stigma and shame, that have held us thrall.
Birth trauma may shape us, but it cannot define,
We are survivors, we shall shine.
