Lonely Wanderer
Through barren lands I tread alone,
A solitary soul, a spirit prone.
No comrade by my side, no voice to cheer,
A wanderer's path, a lonely sphere.
Oh, the lonely wanderer, lost and astray,
In vast expanse, my heart in disarray.
No shelter from the cold, no solace to find,
Just endless miles, a soul confined.
Once I had companions, laughter's sweet sound,
But fate has parted us, leaving me unbound.
Their voices echo faintly in the distant past,
A haunting melody that makes my heart cast.
Oh, the lonely wanderer, lost and astray,
In vast expanse, my heart in disarray.
No shelter from the cold, no solace to find,
Just endless miles, a soul confined.
I gaze upon the stars, their twinkling light,
As if they mock my solitary plight.
Each lonely step I take, a burden to bear,
Longing for a home, a haven beyond despair.
The wind whispers secrets, taunting and cruel,
Reminding me of days when life was full.
But now I'm lost and shattered, a broken vessel,
Drifting aimlessly, with no purpose to settle.
Oh, the lonely wanderer, lost and astray,
In vast expanse, my heart in disarray.
No shelter from the cold, no solace to find,
Just endless miles, a soul confined.
And so, I wander on, a solitary soul,
In search of solace, a place to call home.
Perhaps one day, my weary heart will find its rest,
In the embrace of love, where I'll no longer be oppressed.
