The Norman Notebooks. A Call to the Abyss
Abstract
This book to some extent continues the collection of poems titled The Icelandic Notebooks. It contains a series of poems written by the author in France and dedicated to the lands of Celtic tribes. By getting acquainted with culture, traditions and issues of historical developments that Normandy and the neighboring French lands experienced in the Middle Ages, the reader will get wrapped up in secrets of the mystical heritage of these areas. The poems sound like ballads, combining the past ~ present ~ future timeline into a single whole. These are the clues for entering a personal spatial maze — a tunnel of time, knowledge and feelings. The book is seasoned with flavors of autumn, the northern sea breeze, a fairy forest, and a hidden world of nature. The author offers a special understanding of alchemical meanings behind ancient temples that feature the symbolism of sacred geometry centered around Man with his thoughts and aspiration to leave the world of limitations and enter into the future. Here you will find the codes of knowledge for acquiring the personal power in a fight for your time and for the right to access other domains and the mind of gods.
The publication includes artwork, such as geographical maps, maze plans, ancient symbols, and notes in the margins like those you have in your personal notebook. The book is intended for a particular readership with interest in learning and understanding the meanings behind the heritage of the ancient European North.;
A Word to the Reader…
Learning and understanding the meanings of ancient knowledge is a long and arduous way. It requires a deep dive into the space of the sacred, the meaning of which has been concealed so well for centuries. This is the path of service.
We collect meanings bit by bit. We go through our mysterious circle in oversensitive experiences and deep chthonic vibrations to pick up on a thin thread of design, looking for a fragile connection to get a clue. And when we succeed, the very non-living world of stones, earth, water, fire and air comes alive... It is eternal and it lives according to its own algorithms. It is rewarding to hear their messages in a puff of wind, a splash of a wave, a haze of flame, a rustle and swish of the earth, or in a whisper of vibration of a stone. We read their stories in the stars and listen to ancient ruins…
Have you ever talked to abandoned castles? Have you ever read poems to ancient cathedrals or a fortress wall?... It is an amazing feeling when sturdy perpetual stone brings you into contact with minds that not only have a different vibration but also belong to another dimension. They are the messengers.
They are the witnesses. They are the observers.
Enter cathedrals as a space sheltering a secret power. Go up to ancient towns and side chapels as places that keep the origins of total nature intact. Remember that it was because of the powers that were known to ancient sages, priests and alchemists that these wonderful surviving architectural monuments were erected. The selection of the sites for building them was far from being random — each stands on the land of an ancient pagan temple where priesthood once performed their own rites and acts of worship. All of them are full of sacred meanings. Mazes. Symbols. Ciphers. If you unravel their meaning, you will understand yourself. And if you understand yourself you will unravel their meaning. Everything is interconnected.
I urge you to believe in your forces!
Believe in the eternal Expanse of Heaven and the sacramental nature of the Height of the Spirit of Man from his Creator.
I invite you to think about this on the shores of the harsh but sunny Norman Atlantic. This is the place where mystical history was once made, which we know so little about…
