I'm dead set on
transforming this garden
from the ground up.
this empty plot,
it's like a mirror
reflecting the void
in my soul.
but I'll dig deep,
scatter seeds,
and shower them
with water
until life bursts forth,
banishing the darkness
with a riot of blossoms.
and when,
after endless effort,
flowers finally bloom,
I'll take your hand,
lead you here, and say,
'take a look at this!'
you'll barely recognize the place,
much like I barely recognize
myself anymore.
but now, amid the tulips,
roses, and irises,
there's a glimmer of hope -
and this hope - it's you.
