Андрюша летом был в Крыму.
 Он рассказал на сборе,
Как было весело ему
 Купаться в черном море.
 Написал он в стенгазете
 О камнях, о южном лете,
 И о склонах аю-дага,
И о том, как воздух чист…

 Раз ты выступил в печати,
Ты и шефом будешь кстати.
В наш подшефный детский сад
Пусть тебя и пригласят.
И пошло без передышки!
Поручений целый лист:
Обсужденье новой книжки
 Подготовит активист.
Выступленье на линейке
Поручается Андрейке.
Клеить детские игрушки
Поручается Андрюшке.
Помогать больной старушке
 Поручается Андрюшке.
И пойти в оранжерею
Поручается Андрею
Вся дружина очень рада,
Что Андрюша так ретив:
— нам работать и не надо,
Есть для этого актив!
Ночь пришла…
Огни погасли… — где мой сын?
 — вздыхает мать.—
Может быть, ушел он в ясли
Помогать детей качать?

Andrei, in Crimea, spent his summer days,
Told tales of swimming in the Black Sea's gentle waves,
