Out of nothing nothing comes!
The principle 'Out of nothing nothing comes' works beyond spacetime as well, for nothing does not have any properties - including causing something, since a property exists only if a thing exists, while nothing is literally no thing. Thus, the principle is rather metaphysical, for it doesn't depend on the physical world.
