SLT

The Second Law of Thermodynamics (SLT) proves that the Universe can't be infinite in the past, or else we would have already reached the state of absolute homogeneity. A daring hypothesis has been proposed to avoid the beginning of spacetime reality and not violate the SLT, the Boltzmann's hypothesis that says that the whole spacetime reality is already in this very state of maximum entropy, and our Universe is but a patch of perfect order in the soup. But this is not a viable worldview, for our Universe is too vast and ordered to be a patch of order in a dead field of absolute entropy. Our Solar System is small enough for this role, so the holder of this hypothesis has to resort to considering the entire Universe beyond the Solar System but as an illusion.
