Tree of Life
The tree of life upon the land,
Its roots so deep in ancient soil,
Its branches reaching for the sky to toil
For centuries this tree has grown,
Nurtured by the Earth it's known,
A symbol of all that is alive,
From its branches we find a hive
Of birds and bees that sing in spring,
And squirrels that dance and bob and swing,
The tree of life, it gives us all,
A place to live and thrive and call
Our own, as we grow and learn,
Our roots entwined, our pages turned,
With each new year, we reach new heights,
The tree of life, our endless sights
And so we cherish every leaf,
Every branch, every aspect brief,
Of the tree of life that stands so tall,
A reminder of the power in us all.
