Always the same
From everywhere comes only lies.
Brazenly lie people with chevrons,
To influence people in ties.
Stupidity turns to sapience,
Ugliness is presented as beauty.
And you don't have the patience
To be deceived and to be dirty.
Thieves everywhere teach honesty,
There are always talkers around.
The dwarf speaks of some majesty,
And the rascals walk on holy ground.
Tired with all these, from these would I be gone,
Save that to die, I leave my love alone.*
* The last two lines from William Shakespeare's sonnet 66 Tired with all these for restful death I cry
