The death of peace of mind

My wounded heart bursts into fire.
Broke up in two, can't be rebuilt.
Unable to cope with disguised desire
Which leads right to decay and wilt.

I feel my mind's severely poisoned,
Confused, distracted and frustrated.
I need to find an efficacious remedy
For saving it from being devastated.

Deeply inside within me buried sadness,
That drags me down into the utter madness
And makes me fight against this taut tether,
Harps that we ain't meant to burn together.

Trying to overcome morbid obsession
And vainly making thoughts untwined,
Unwittingly come to the conception:
LOVE IS THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND.
