                Big Dreamers

"Oh, where are you going to, all you Big Dreamers,
With England’s whole world a nightmare untold?"
"We’re leaving the EU to go and save our borders,
Our money, our laws and take back control.”

"Dreaming what to be free from, all you Big Dreamers,
And how so much better, why don’t you reveal?”
"We’ll be free of more immigrants, EU rules, euros,
While repealing our laws with a new trade deal.”

“So you’ll stop all the immigrants reaching our shores,
You’ll send home all those who shouldn’t be here.
You’ll boost trade with Asia, America, Australia,
While those who are closest will be left to the rear.”

"But what if all immigrants left you Big Dreamers,
And suppose you fell sick and needed some care?"
"Then you'd have no doctors or nurses in hospitals,
And you'd have no catering, no staff, no welfare."

"But if anything happened to all you Big Dreamers,
And suppose you mucked up the deal that you seek?"
"Then you'd have no coffee or bacon for breakfast,
And you'd have no muffins or toast for your tea."

"Then I'll pray for a deal for all you Big Dreamers,
For EU concessions, while you suck up so soft."
"Oh, petitions and muck-ups don't bother Big Dreamers,
For we're numb down below and quite senseless aloft."

"Then you’ll build Jerusalem for all us Big Dreamers,
With plenty green pastures, meadows and plains."
"Oh, the land’s so bright, no dark Satanic mills,
And peace reigns around us, all sunshine, no rain.”
 
"So what can I do for you, all you Big Dreamers,
Oh, what can I do, for the dream to come true?"
"Close your eyes, and you’ll see what we want to achieve
In an instant the nightmare has ended for you.

For the wish that you have for things to get better,
And the love and the joy that you feel for our land,
They are brought to you daily by all us Big Dreamers
And if you don’t share our vision, you're blind !"
