Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my plea,
In Your faithfulness, answer me.
Do not hide Your face, from my distress,
And in Your justice, give me success.
You've tested my heart, and found it true,
And in Your presence, I walk upright and true.
I've kept my steps, from evil's way,
And kept my feet, from straying astray.
I call upon You, as my defender,
And You've answered, and been my defender.
Rescue me, from those who would harm,
And keep me safe, in Your strong arm.
Let Your face, shine upon Your servant,
And save me, in Your loving fervent.
I trust in You, and I will not fear,
For You, Lord, are always near.
