How long, O Lord, will You forget me,
Will You hide Your face, from me eternally?
How long must I bear this pain in my soul,
And suffer these sorrows, that make me feel old?
Look upon me, and answer my plea,
And rescue my soul, from the enemy.
Save me from those, who would do me harm,
And keep me safe, in Your loving arm.
I trust in Your Word, and know You're near,
You'll be my light, and wipe away my tear.
My heart will rejoice, and I'll sing Your praise,
For You have delivered me, from all my days.
