Answered because God had promised
Oh Lord, You heard Abraham's plea,
For an heir, You gave Sarah and me.
You kept Your promise, true and kind,
With Isaac born, Your love we find.
We thank You for Your faithfulness,
And for the gift of righteousness.
In You we trust, our faith increase,
With gratitude and joy, we praise.
