Psalm 9

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
And recount all of your wonderful deeds,
In the company of the upright,
And among the assembly of the needy.

For the Lord is a stronghold in times of trouble,
And he knows those who take refuge in him,
He delivers them from their distress,
And saves them from their enemies, so grim.

The Lord will endure forever,
He has established his throne for judgment,
He will judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples with his truth, so resounding.

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble,
And those who know your name put their trust in you,
For you, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion,
Declare among the peoples his deeds,
For he who avenges blood remembers them,
And does not forget the cry of the needy.

Acknowledge the Lord, and seek his face,
Remember his wonders that he has done,
And sing praises to him and his name,
For he is good, and his steadfast love endures on.
