Psalm 8

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic,
Is your name in all the earth,
Your glory above the heavens,
And your praise to all it gives birth.

From the mouths of infants and babes,
You have established strength,
To silence the enemy and the avenger,
And to set your glory at great length.

When I consider your heavens,
The work of your fingers, the moon and the stars,
What is man that you are mindful of him,
And the son of man, that you visit him and ours?

You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And crowned him with glory and honor,
You have given him dominion over the works of your hands,
And put all things under his feet, to ponder.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic,
Is your name in all the earth,
Your glory above the heavens,
And your praise to all it gives birth.
