Oh Lord, in faith we come to You,
With Abraham's plea, we make our vow.
For Sodom, once a city bright,
Now facing judgment, in Your sight.
You promised, if ten righteous dwell,
The city would be spared from hell.
Abraham, with love, interceded,
For those who strayed, Your mercy needed.
But when Your angels searched the land,
Only Lot and his family were found.
So Sodom, with its wicked ways,
Was consumed by fire, in Your blaze.
We learn from this, Your justice true,
And seek Your mercy, Lord, for us too.
Forgive us when we stray from Your path,
And lead us to Your everlasting grace.
May we, like Lot, be counted pure,
And in Your presence, forever endure.
Prayer. Abraham for Sodom to be spared
