Walk in step with the wicked"
Blessed is the man who does not walk,
In step with the wicked or sit,
Amongst those who scoff and mock,
But instead, delights in God's law.
For like a tree that's planted by,
The streams of water, strong and fair,
He brings forth fruit in due time,
And all he does, shall prosper there.
Not so the wicked, for they're like,
The chaff that's driven by the wind,
Their ways are in the shadows, unlike,
The righteous, who live in God's light.
Therefore, the wicked shall not stand,
In judgment or in God's great court,
For they have turned their hearts away,
From truth and love, to death's great resort.
But the righteous shall shine forth,
Like stars in heaven, clear and bright,
And they shall walk in step with God,
And bask in his eternal light.
