Spiritual Hymn Though Trials May Come

Verse 1:
Though troubles assail and dangers affright,
Though friends should all fail and foes all unite,
Yet one thing secures us, whatever betide,
The promise assures us, "The Lord will provide."

His promise is true, and He will never hide,
Though trials may come, and storms rage all around,
We'll trust in His Word, for the Lord will provide.

In every condition, in sickness, in health,
In poverty's vale or abounding in wealth,
At home or abroad, on the land, on the sea,
As thy days may demand, shall thy strength ever be.

Verse 3:
If life be prolonged, I may cause to endure,
Or help me to take it calm and serene;
Support me through pain, and in every losing hour,
Be still my soul, the Lord will provide.

So let us trust in Him, with all of our heart,
And lean not on our own understanding,
