God save a pregnant cat,
an old lame hound,
a little midge,
as well a restless sparrow;
a shabby book
in the deserted square,
my mother tongue
and lonely Teddy bear.
But most of all
God save the pregnant mouse, whereas the pregnant cat
is coming in the house,
the even path to you
is vanished in the mist...
Just wag your finger
from a far, at least.
