I’m a Lover, not a fighter,
But for Peace I fight with Art and All my HeArt
I’m a Poet, not a Soldier,
But my Words are sharper than knives!
Too much time and lives are wasted fighting!
Why must we engage in all that rage?
It’s expensive and not at all progressive
And ‘Qui Bono?’* Did you ever ask?
Who is making people fight their Brothers?
Why destroy the Peace we fought to keep?
Where’s Love in All of this destruction?!?
What on Earth Have WE Become, My Dear?!
Let’s put down all guns and knives and weapons!
Let us sit around the table and just TALK!!!
That’s ENOUGH of fighting!!! Basta, Bello**!!
Let’s Make Peace! Enough of wars for us!!!
