I have remembered you at once - Venya Drkin

(перевод на английский текста песни Александра Литвинова (вени Дркина) "Любовь на перше" - "Я в коем веке помню вас...")

I have remembered you at once,
Young lady in the garden blue
With polo neck in highly stance
And brown dog about you...

You came as lady at the ball
With velvet fur on satin glove.
So many times I fell in love
And poured the flowers on the floor.

The circus of Monsieur Marceau,
I was musician and a tramp.
You had a huge and scarlet bow,
And you made balance on a ramp.

Remembered now as much was fun,
Shepherdess – you, I herded pun
And drank your cunning sweety wines
From blue and daring pretty eyes.

I grew up like a feather grass,
While you had noble tender heart.
The only thing you got from love
- the pillow wet with tear glass.

My shoes, that had to see a lot
Of towns and their dust of road,
Were fated to get filled with dew,
By no words knew – I found you...

(the song "Love on circus pole" ("Lyubov' na pershe") written and performed by russian poet and musician Alexander Litvinov (Venya Drkin), translated from Russian by Daniel Rublev)
