Every single time
I am here with you,
Your voice, so sublime,
So sincere, so soft,
So sweet, I'm calmed by,
Makes me feel so safe,
Makes me feel so high.
Every bright sunbeam
Lays on you face while
I watch how you talk,
Sunnily you smile.
Coffee - tea, a chat,
And there is no fear.
So safe, calm and warm
Simply when you're near.
Who am I to you?
And what do I mean?
Counting it up
All that's been between.
Thousands of hugs
You keep giving me
Holding my cold hands,
In yours, warm, so free
I feel saying things
I do really mean
With no hide, no fear,
Just the way it is.
With an open heart
You address the world –
Everyone, so kind.
That's what I have learnt.
Want to keep it on
Want us never stop
And put off our end
Till the first teardrop
