it felt like pain -
and still it wasn't more
than just the rain.
and then the past is back -
you feel confused
like a thousand times before...
and in your head the haunting feeling
you have just been used -
and you walk out the door
into the rain...
into the rain
falling from the skies,
telling calming lies,
running down the hands...
it's just the rain
that dissolves the fears,
hides away the tears,
forgives and understands...
it's just the rain...
