My country is full
Of mind-waking places
And they shine a light
Over cities, huge and small.
People read books
And sometimes write them.
On some occasions
Among songs and dance
A melody of generosity
Sways around
Like a fire, all-consuming
Or like the coldest water
At the break of day.
People devote their time to each other
And they create gifts
So that no one feels
Left out.
