The Reforgiven
A world of rock
And guilty pleasures
In which we used to drown,
Looking for sanctity in remorse,
For vengeance and clarity,
When you quit your teenage games
And then look back,
What do you see?
A mental scheme
For new colossal deeds,
And an epic game
Of crowds swaying,
Of songs and stories,
Wild roads
And hoarse voices.
The Reforgiven
Who play around
With guitar solos
And a hanging garden
Of complicated notes.
