The Jisei

My body is a small fragile vessel
With myriads of deep unhealing cracks.
Inevitable presence of the wrestle,
Fatality that burns my glowing tracks.

The scent of death. Inscrutable and ruthless.
I look into her dark and empty eyes.
I worshipped something vicious, something truthless
And now it's breaking in the amber skies.

I feel the blade that sinks into my shoulder
Accepting this persistent mordant ache.
And all regrets I had while getting older
Will fade in waters of the scarlet lake.

Oblivion, I bow my head so humbly.
These scattered rubies in the silver snow
Become the midnight stars and I stare numbly
Into the faint light and river flow.

And no one will notice
I'm no longer here.

And no one will notice
I'm no longer here.
