The Crinaeae. 1

In Greek mythology, the Crinaeae (/kra;;ni;i;/; Ancient Greek: ;;;;;;;;, from Greek "krini") were a type of Naiad nymphs associated with fountains or wells.[1]

The number of Crinaeae includes but is not limited to:

Aganippe[2]
Appias[3][4]
Myrtoessa[5]
The Sithnides (a group of nymphs associated with a fountain in Megara)[6]

(from an encyclopedia)

Appias

Their presence reeks
Of water fresh,
They're innocence
In glowing flesh.
And in a flash
They will come down
To see the dawn
That dwells around.
