My brain hums with scarps of poetry and madness.
How great it would be to see the 19th century firsthand!
However, there is no time travel.
Sheer sadness.
I’d give a lot to be in that dreamland.
It would be great to gather a cohort of writers:
Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde,
The Bronte Sisters, William Thackeray, George Eliot,
George Meredith, Lewis Carroll. Feel the style!
Romanticism and notes of realism.
Sophisticated life, hard labour, troublesome routine.
Giving importance to emotions.
It was so splendid!
