Man needs one simple thing:
On the end of searching -
to find.
At first: one friend,
And one enemy.
Man needs - one simple thing:
His way - going afar,
His Mother -
Living on earth
Her life-span -
as she needs.


Man needs - one simple thing:
After thunderstorm - silence,
A blue piece of mist.
Life - only one.
And Death - only one.
A fresh newspaper  at morning -
As the closeness to Mankind.
And one planet - Earth!
The only  thing.
And also - the way among the stars
And dream about the speed.
This is so small thing,
At least - a trash.
The small award.
The low tomb.

Man needs so small thing -
Someone
Who is
Waiting him
At home.

The process of seaching and reaching.
At first - one enemy, one friend...
For his good living.
A man needs not many -
A path going to horizon.
And his Mother's life span,
So long, that she can.
A man needs not many:
After thunderstorm - silence.
A blue piece of haze.
One life. One death.
A fresh newspaper - in the morning,
As a tie to all Mankind.
And the only One planet - Earth!
Only that place, evidently.
And the Star's continual Way,
And a Dream about Speed.
That essentially - not many,
That's only - the simple need.
Not big award, also.
Not high throne, for all.
The Man's need is so small -
Somebody waiting him at home.

Чтоб жила на свете мама.
Сколько нужно ей -жила...

после грома - тишину.
Голубой клочок тумана.
Жизнь - одну. И смерть - одну.
Утром свежую газету -
С Человечеством родство.
И всего одну планету:
Землю! Только и всего.
И межзвездную дорогу,
Да мечту о скоростях.
Это, в сущности - немного.
Это, в общем-то - пустяк.
Невеликая награда.
Невысокий пьедестал.
Человеку мало надо.
Лишь бы дома кто-то ждал.
