Something to Caw About

Once upon a time, there lived a crow named Crow.
Crow wasn't a crowd crow and didn't like lame 'caws' just for the sake of them, so he lived on his own.
He was a cunning crow and pretty deft. Thus he often got his claws on some treasure that wasn't tied down, or was, it didn't really matter to him. He didn't actually care about collecting lots of treasures though. Crow had high crafty skills and wanted to use them, 'tis all.
One day when Crow had cracked another chest full of gold and shiny jewels he realized that he, Crow himself, was completely empty in his heart. He felt so angry and frustrated inside that he just left the found chest of gold opened and flew away from it, as far and fast as it was possible. It was the first time Crow wanted to crack his own mind.
The days had been passing by as Crow was thinking about the key to this most difficult puzzle. But the answer had eluded his mind until one particular moment. When he had lost all hope... He saw a baby crow in the snow. Nearby was lying an adult crow, dead frozen... The baby crow was cawing for help and crying. All alone. Cold and hungry. That was the moment of truth and salvation. Crow lifted the baby crow out of the snow and hugged. The baby crow had stopped crying immediately. Feeling the heat of a warm living embrace the baby crow fell asleep...
Since that day Crow was taking care of the found baby crow and they lived happily ever after. Crow was teaching the baby crow not about what he knew before but about what he had understood. And thus Crow wasn't alone nor feeling empty inside ever since. He had filled his heart with genuine treasure this time, love.
