heart is beating like a caged bird, melting in the air of birches
i returned to a rare skirl, to my sky-grown childhood shores
right behind me dusty mane of trails tied into tight knots
and the day is raining scared, and the night looks like turncoat

to heal wild wounds forever, i laughed so hard it melted ice
now i mock dreams out of favor, where the fine Ingoda hides

neither mercy nor forgiveness: be severe and ever strong
shook with hardships, feed the weak voice with the freshly reaped grains' warmth
harden captain's red hot temper with the rain of fire and steel
gird with watchful contemplation to meet sunrise in the streams

rioted when unrequited, trusted glances by a chance
and washed with the shiny blue wind, where jets of Ingoda runs

sleepy morn, with trusty thread i'll weave the dawn in splashing rays
and then sear the wings of eyes with ancient mystery one day
praise the age with gossip's glades, cover chest with watchful guards
Sun will give its son his name, and prophetic shout flies

after happiness like arrow fly, let the years lash light at eyes
i'm returning with a bow, where the Ingoda brightly shines


Ингода |Калинов Мост

Сердце бьется птицей в клетке, Тает воздухом берез.
Я вернулся в посвист редкий К берегам, где в небо рос.
За плечами пыльной гривой Тропы спутаны в узлы.
И ненастит день пугливо, И изменой ночь грозит.

Залечить шальные раны Полыньей нахохотал.
И опально сны тираню, Где притихла Ингода.

Ни пощады, ни прощенья: Будь сурова, будь сильна.
Голос слабый в дрожь лишений Напои теплом зерна.
Атамана нрав горячий Закали дождем невзгод,
Опоясай думой зрячей В родниках встречать восход.

Ураганил безответно, Взгляду верил наугад.
И умылся синим ветром, Где струится Ингода.

Сонным утром нитью верной Зорю выткать в плеск лучей.
И однажды тайной древней Опалить крыла очей.
Славить век молвой проталин, Грудь дозорами укрыть.
Солнце сыну имя дарит, И несется вещий крик.

Догонять стрелою счастье, Пусть секут прищур года, -
Мне поклоном возвращаться, Где светлеет Ингода.
