The war which s never told

There’s the war which’s never told,
The war with a single enemy.
Though the power that it holds -
Resists the whole raging sea!

It is the horrors’ main maniac,
With a snide smile and a sharped knife.
It makes her nights insomniac,
Leaving no quiet room in her young life…

She’s assured it knows the address,
And breaks in doors without a knock.
Causes the violence and the distress,
Torturing slowly like an electric shock!

Cigarettes for the entree, hopes for the main,
As if she plays in cats-and-mice.
The black mascara and shimmer shades -
Hide the fear inside her eyes.

Cause there’s the war which’s never told,
Where she’s alone by her own self.
She is the one who remains so bold,
Yet she is the one who looks for help.

She looks for love, no time for tears,
Puts no doubt that she’s strong as hell!
She knows she’s bigger than her fears,
So, she gets up and runs after she fell!
