Winter

That night was sleepless. In the darkness
The Moon was shining, big and flawless,
Chilled breath of wind – on foggy window,
Like mirk breakup – escapeless winter.

She filled the air, put snow on branches,
She settled here, her avalanches
Embraced my every cell, so freezing,
And mantled earth in white - with wheezing.

I welcomed her with oscitation,
Routinely, sick of suffocation
From dusty summer, scorching heat,
And rainy autumn’s woeful beat.

That winter was my helping hand,
She resonated with heart’s band,
And drops of time, distinct at night…
There’s neither past nor future... right?
