Forging a Star 101

There is a Star I want to forge.
For the Star to be the only and sole
I am to take the narrowest gorge
So that I’ll get the Star with a soul.

Some hydrogen just for the start
And a few alpha-particles more
Oops. It emits nothing but fart
I’ll have to create my sophomore.

You know the first verse too well
So, I won’t be repeating it here.
I’ll find the deepest wisdom well
All that I learn will be bound to sear.

I drop a pitch of cosmic dust -
The raw material is scarce in space.
A few molecules causing rust
As the Star has to age with its pace.

I need a source of light that glows
I am going to put it deep inside.
And some winds with mighty blows
That would create a planet aside.

Almost done. Yet a thing to precise.
I have to seal the Star with a name
It will be simple and fairly concise
The Star’s or my muse’s, as they’re the same.
