A Fir Tree born within the woods ,
grew up so tall and fair
Devoid of any fashion sense -
wore green throughout the year
A scared rabbit hopping by -
concerned about its lot
And shortly after Big Bad Wolf
had Hare-a-la-mode
A one-horse-power all-terrain
is dashing through the snow
Green Peace attempts to interfere -
and suffers a KO
Against a peasant with an ax
the tree puts up no fight
He drags the pretty spiky cone
and sets it up inside
With lots of lights and lots of toys
and lots and lots of food
The children played and danced all night
around the corpse of wood
