The fairies life

I.
My king is a fool.
The mightiest fool
With purest heart.
My king is the fool,
He has mighty rule:
To trust, and immerse
In song and in verse.
Light rain and a dew
To keep happy few
Is ordered, and due
On the day of the Yuille,
On that day, that you’ll
Admit, that you knew,
The fairy flew.
And who even knew –
It was something new:
The fairy flew
And lost her left shoe.
The right one she threw:
“You gotta have two!”
In sunny green tulle,
With bubbly blue jewels,
All mixed,
sparked and spooled,
The fairy flew.
