Night will come and cover all with a thick black veil…
I remember how the screen dimmed and we were there.
Days have passed when we discussed the trifles.
Pleasant dreams about you and me

I’ve been waiting for you long, I dreamed, it wasn’t in vein.
And so often it seemed to me that the moment came.
But every midnight let me see the truth –
Moonlight like an arrow ran me through.

I broke to pieces that lie of the nights.
I went to you, the lovely dream of mine.
I believed and dreamed, was waiting for,
But the stars sent cold light, and it could not warm.

Days grow dim. The nights begin drawing its dark face,
But I cannot see your eyes, for the murk prevents.
I’m  alone in melancholy here,
And the night is melting down my dream.
