A lonely walk I love to take
To have some rest, to ease my ache
To let bad thoughts get out of head
And welcome happy ones instead
To greet beloved trees in park
To smile at strangers in the dark
To watch the clouds slowly float
Like sky is sea and cloud is boat
To buy some ice cream on my way
And put my worries all away
To listen to a favourite song
And in a whisper sing along
And with nostalgic feel inside
Seek inspiration and insight
While I admire starry lights
Beneath the moon on clear nights
The clouds, the strangers and the trees
How much I value all of these
I cannot live without them all
Without my quiet lonely stroll.
