Weird people

Strange people, unhappy people.
People of Petrarch, Nietzsche, Chopin.
Herod's people and Hamlet's people.
People in trenches, helmets, craters.
People in murders and people in anxiety.
You are from God, you are from the Devil.
People in the dark and in the bad weather.
You have found Him and you have forgotten.
You kissed His feet and kicked Him with yours.
And behind God’s back you cursed God’s meaning.

Vile people, sneaky people.
Kind people, generous people.
Small people, big people.
Honest people, brave people.
In essence, normal people.
You’ll soon disappear and dissolve
in crowds of aliens in dark colors.
Strange people, repent, strange people fast.

The wind turns a rock into sand,
into the dunes that cry at night
into the thirst for valleys without rain and sunsets,
into sweet lies in a glass of sweet wine.

Know, that you will not be happy with yourself.
The time has come to ban masquerades.
Who, if not you, chose the leaders.
Your women are tired of pain.

A Valkyrie queen walks across the field.
No, dead birds will not return.
                * * *
An inch of sky between the chopping block and the ground.
And the future is predetermined by fate.
And you went like a cattle to the slaughter.
And cold smiles accompanied you.

Commentary

During both world wars, in battles and from wounds, in just 11 years, about 26 million, mostly young men, died on the fronts of Europe.

The civil war in Russia in 1918-1923, including the Soviet-Polish war, carried away about 2.5 million from all sides of the conflict killed in battles and died from wounds.
And this is only at the fronts and in the fighting.  This figure does not include 6+ million Jews, an unknown number of Roma, civilians in Germany, Russia, Poland, Spain and other European countries.  700,000 Americans and Australians.  Knowing all this, one should not be surprised at the current state of affairs in the West Europe, USA and in Russia.  In the author opinion, the West is sentenced to destruction, through assimilation as a result of the invasions of emigrants, encouraged by liberal circles. Emigrants, who are unlikely to be interested in preserving the culture and scientific achievements of Western civilization, in the Judeo-Christian moral foundations and religious postulates.  Alas, this is not racism or xenophobia, but it is a sad historical fact.
