23. Oh let them say my verse is dull and simple

Oh let them say my verse is dull and simple,
It lacks much rhythm and the lines don't rhyme.
To them, my voice sounds nothing but just crippled
And each attempt to write's seen as a crime.

They never read and only scan through symbols,
And do their math not seeing what contains
Each verse. But driven by the impulse
To judge they judge whatever there remains.

They overlook somehow the essence that gave birth
To every line and every single word.
So what it's meant to hold and what it's really worth
To critic's eyesight constantly stays blurred.

The truth is that mistaken is their view.
For all those poems' beauty lies in you.
